Delicate Dahlias Stamp set free during Sale-a-bration

In my final attempt to tempt you to place an order and make the most of Sale-a-bration, I am sharing these cards I made using the Delicate Dahlias Stamp set which is free with a £90 spend.

I have seen so many beautiful cards made using the Delicate Dahlias Stamp set but they have all been bright and colourful so I opted for a neutral design using tones of brown to make a sympathy card.

I did add a little strip of the Be Dazzling Speciality Paper which is also free until the end of September with a £45 spend.

How I made this card using Delicate Dahlias

The card base is Soft Suede Cardstock and the stamped piece is Kraft paper which comes in 6×6″ sheets. I stamped the various flowers in the Delicate Dahlias stamp set in Early Espresso and Soft Suede Ink and instead of re-inking with each stamp impression, I simply stamped 2-3 times to get a lighter impression each time.

Once I had filled the Kraft paper with the flower stamps I then adhered it to the front of my card and lined it with a strip of the Be Dazzling Paper.

The greeting (from the Delicate Dahlias stamp set also) was heat embossed in gold onto Early Espresso Card and then punched using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch to create the label shape.

And finally I added several of the Brushed Metallic Dots, another favourite of mine to the card front. A pack of these dots were my thank you gift to my customers who ordered with me in August along with some Cork Speciality paper and some Diamond Weave Ribbon.
