I thought we could all use some sunny sentiments today after a week of cold and damp weather.

I knew as soon as I saw the Basic Borders dies that I could create clouds with them. Isn’t it funny how we all see different possibilities in Stampin’ Up! products? The greeting in the Sunny Sentiments set was just a perfect combination and who doesn’t need some sunny thoughts?
I used layers of Basic White Cardstock and Vellum to layer the clouds and simply punched a circle out onto a piece of cardstock and used the blending brushes to add a sun to the card base. I then used the edge of the punched card to brush lightly to create sun rays.

Be sure to stamp the greeting first and then cut your first die cut to make sure you leave enough room for the greeting. I added dimensionals to each layer of vellum and white to create texture and dimension.
It is a pretty simple card to make. Maybe one you can try at home?
I have listed all the supplies I used to create this card below. If you’d like to place an online order, please use the monthly hostess code (shown on the right hand side) to receive a free thank you card and gift.
I am very happy it’s the weekend. Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
