Stampin’ Up! have launched their new mini catalogue today which means lots of lovely new craft products in new designs to inspire you. One of my instant favourites is the Flowing Flowers stamp set. It is a ‘Distinktive’ stamp set which means that the stamped image will be heaver and lighter in areas to create the affect of shading with just one stamp impression – clever huh?

Here’s how I created the Flowing Flowers Card
I stamped the flowers onto Kraft cardstock (which has carried over from our old mini catalogue and is still available to purchase) in Whisper White Craft Ink. I intentionally left an area of the cardstock blank and filled the edges of the Kraft by rotating the stamps from the Flowing Flowers stamp set. You can also use a paint brush or water painter to pick up whisper white ink to add detail to the image if you need a pop of colour. I heat embossed the greeting in gold embossing powder too and used the Banner Pick a Punch to make the angled edges.
I love the muted effect, what a great stamp the Flowing Flowers set is with a combination of beautiful flower images and greetings too!

If you have already requested a paper copy of the new catalogue, they are on their way. I sent them all on 27th December but I think the bank holidays have delayed the postal service.
