You may think this is just a regular card but there is a surprise lurking inside! When you open the card, there is a pop up gift bag ready to add a gift card or small treat inside. Come and see…..

I used the flower stamps and dies from the Sending Smiles bundle and decorated the side flap of the card. As the inside of the card houses a surprise pop up the card is quite bulky and so I created the greeting to hold the card closed. You can see I only stuck the ‘SEND’ part of the greeting die cut down.

Adding the Fern Embossed image to the front of the card also added texture to a plain background. The Sending Smiles bundle has so many stamp and die combinations. You can layer the ‘Sending’ word onto a shaped background as I have done here and pair it with the multitude of other greetings for so many occasions.

And when you open it…… isn’t it sweet, it looks just like a proper shopping bag! I originally saw the idea on Instagram from TanuCreative, you can find her YouTube channel HERE. I made my pop up a different size and re-worked it to work with Stampin’ Up supplies.

The plastic credit card gift cards you can get fit perfectly inside the bag too! I must be a glutton for punishment as this card was complicated to make but I shared it at a team meeting I held in The Netherlands for my Dutch team and they all managed to create their own too.
Below I have listed all the items I used to create this card, be sure to check out TanuCreative to see her video. Have a great day x
I would love to hear from you...
