Is it too soon to mention Christmas yet? I created this home decor piece using Linen paper for one of the makes for my team get together last weekend in Northamptonshire. I made my for Christmas but it could be made for any occasion and displayed around the home.
I used the Linen Paper from Stampin Up for the background which gives a subtle texture and is lovely to stamp on. It is sticky backed so you simply peel off the backing and stick it to your greyboard. The wreath was created with the Forever Fern Stamp Set and then fronds from the Pinecone Dies were layered over the top.
The natural finish bow adds a real pop texture and dimension and the rhinestones and sequins add a bit of sparkle.
The greeting was created with the versatile Alphabest bundle. It is a great bundle to make titles and add personalisation to cards. I heat embossed the letters and punched them out using the matching punch.
Foraging for so many sticks wasn’t easy though. Remind me to think about that before I design a project for my Pinkies team event next time! I hold regular team events and design all the projects for them to create. My team events are great value as they are run to cover costs only and you will leave feeling inspired, connected with so many friendly faces and have a tummy full of cake too! Why not join my team and come along to the next one?
I love how this piece turned out and I could not wait to share it with you. All the items I used to create it are shared below. Click the item to view in my online shop. If you place an online order with me, please use the monthly hostess code to receive a free thank you gift and card.
And as a thank you to my wonderful customers, anyone ordering with me in September will receive a pdf copy of the instructions on how to make this project along with their thank you card and gift.
Have a great day everyone x
