I used to collect pigs when I was a child and have had a love of them ever since. This Birthday Piggy stamp set is SO cute and has been on my stamp shelf for quite some time but when Stampin’ Up released an exclusive die set for the month of September only, I knew I had to get creating with it.
The Playful Piggy Dies cut out the stamped images including the pig on the scooter. It would be a nightmare to fussy cut but with one swipe through the Stampin’ Cut ”n’ Emboss machine its done!
The pig was coloured with the Stampin’ Blends and the sky background was created with the blending brushes. I needed something for the top part of the card but I had already mentioned Happy Birthday so had to find another greeting, this one from Charming Sentiments was perfect and what is even better is that there is a die cut to cut around all the greetings.
Below are the dies, the grass die cut will be oh so useful and that little wooden cart! Adorable. There are lots of other little pieces too to really customise your piggy cards.
