Here is a project I created using the Window Wishes bundle. It is my first Christmas card and I am rather pleased with it. You know me by now, nothing simple here, layer upon layer of texture and detail but I wanted to use the Puff Paint on my card to give it a snowy feel.
It is super simple to use the Puff Paint. You simply add the paint by squeezing the bottle and directing the paint with the nozzle where you wish on your project and then heat set with a heat tool to make the liquid paint puff up. I have shared a video on my instagram feed on how to do it if you’d like to see it in action.
It was really fun to make and the puff paint could be used for a multitude of uses including adding icing to stamped cakes, clouds and so much more.
I created a see through window with vellum and heat embossed my greeting on it which is from the Hope & Peace stamp set. For added effect you can position a battery operated tea light inside the card to create a flickering light coming through the window (see below).
