There is nothing nicer than being given flowers and these flowers will last forever! The Jar of Flowers stamp set, teamed with the ‘thanks’ greeting from the Kind and Sincere stamp set is a perfect combination!
It was very therapeutic colouring the Jar of flowers using our Stampin’ Blends. Of course you could use watercolours or any other colouring medium you have.
I am starting to think about a new Stampin’ Up Annual catalogue being released and looking back at my favourites and hoping they aren’t retired. I often feel bad about not using them enough if they retire before I have got them good and inky. Us demos won’t see what is retiring from our current annual catalogue until the end of March but we do know there will be a colour refresh which means that our colour families will be revamped to include some new colours, some colours may move colour families and some will be retired altogether.
What to do when a colour refresh is coming?
- Check your stock of ink pads, ink refills, cardstock, stampin’ blends and embellishments.
- Stock up on ink refills and matching products of your favourites BEFORE the retiring list is announced.
- Any item that contains retiring colours will be retired and on the LAST CHANCE LIST. Stock up on your favourite cardstock assortments, patterned paper, stampin’ blends, watercolour pencils, soft pastels and stampin’ write markers.
- Check if you have any In Colour products from the 2021-23 range as they will be retired and will sell out fast once the Last Chance list is released on 29th March. Get your ink refills for your ink pads now.
I love the combination of fonts in the Kind & Sincere stamp set and the contemporary font of the smaller greetings. And you can’t beat a pop of heat embossing to really finish a card, it is definitely my go to technique.
I did add some wink of Stella to the petals but its hard to see that in my photos and some elegant faceted gems which I have shared in the table below.
