I have been marbling again onto vellum using our Stampin’ Blends markers and I hope I will inspire you to give this easy technique a go.
I shared the marbling technique back in November and used the marbling to create gorgeous backgrounds for my Christmas cards, click HERE if you’d like to see them.
I wanted to try different colours and love the variety of different effects you can create with your marbling just by using different coloured alcohol markers.
Depending on the tone of the colours used and how much ink you lay down will depend on the effect. To keep it simple, I die cut shapes in Basic White cardstock to lay over the top and added a heat embossed sentiment.
I have shared below a video I created on how to do Alcohol Marker Marbling onto Vellum –
To create the cards I have shared today you simply need to cut a rectangle from your vellum and mount it to your card rather than die cutting with a shape die.
I have done my best to list the supplies I used to make the three cards below but as we are in the month before a catalogue retires you may find that some of the items are no longer available.
I hope I have inspired you to get marbling.
