How are you doing, I hope you are having a great week so far! Last weekend I hosted an event for my Stampin’ Up team and we spent the day crafting and inspiring one another. I designed the house shaped fancy fold project using three different themes but was I totally got my inspiration from Stempelmariele from Germany.
This type of card could be great for so many occasions including new home, wedding, christening and I am sure you can come up with many of your own. It was such a great way to showcase the new patterned paper from our mini catalogue. Which one is your favourite?
I love the papers in the centre one. They are called Garden Walk and they are bright, contemporary colours in modern patterns and it is designed to compliment the Modern Garden stamp set, see the last card I made with this set HERE.
Each card incorporates different sentiments, die cuts and decoration to make it different to the rest.
I have not been able to stop using the Magical Meadow dies showcased in the image above, they have such fine detail and add the perfect flourish to a card. Can you see I cut them from the Garden Walk patterned paper which makes them tie in perfectly to the card design.
This is the inside (using the Winter Meadow designer series paper) and the inside is as beautiful as the outside.
There were 48 people all making this style card and each person made it their own using different paper, dies, sentiments and finishing touches. I am afraid I cannot share measurements with you, as that would not be fair to my team who came along but do check out Stempelmariele on YouTube and Instagram to find out more.
I have listed the main supplies I used for all 3 designs below. The images link directly to my online shop which makes it easy to shop if you would like to make your own house shape fancy fold card.
Thank you for stopping by, I really do appreciate it!
