The best promotion of the year has begun and you can choose from so many free gifts from our sale-a-bration offer which runs till the end of February.
This little beauty was made with the Flight & Airy patterned papers which you can choose with a £45 / 60€ spend from our annual and new mini catalogues. I fussy cut the birds out of the paper and sponged a background to add some more detail and interest.
A quick and simple way to add a sponged shape to your die cuts is to add ink with a blending brush to your cardstock BEFORE you remove the die. There is no need to use tape or a mask, let the die do the hardwork! And the new Glass Mat Studio made the ink blending easy and quick to clean up too (hear more about that below).
I love the crisp line you get from blending inside the die cut. I used the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More cards and envelopes for this project. Our pre-cut and scored card bases add a pop of colour and and pattern which means you can keep your card super simple. I heat embossed the greeting and added a gold metallic dot to add another layer of dimension.
This is such a quick card to make with minimal stamping, I hope you give it a go! Did you see I used the newly introduced Glass Mat Studio for creating my card? It is a glass base perfect for all your ink, watercolouring and messy projects and its FREE when you buy the starter kit until the end of February during Sale-a-bration.
It comes with some great accessories too including the cleaning cloth and silicone mat. The safety-tempered glass has a heat and scratch resistant surface that wipes clean with the included cloth and water—no chemicals needed. The reusable cloth also cleans ink off your stamps!
The nonslip, heat resistant, waterproof silicone mat features four palette squares for mixing custom ink colours or for holding small ink spots in place while crafting. Demonstrators were allowed to purchase them before the sale-a-bration promotion started as they are only currently available for free when you join and cannot be purchased. I am still discovering the potential of it and will share more with you as I use if for different things.
