Today’s card is a little different to my usual style. I wanted to try the technique where you ink one side of the embossing folder with versamark and add cardstock, then run the embossing folder through your big shot. You will then be left with versarmark on the cardstock in the design of the embossing folder, which you can then heat emboss. I used the large polka dot embossing folder for my card.
And Melon Mambo embossing powder on Pink Pirouette cardstock. In the close up below you can see the embossing a little better. I tried several sentiments and they just didn’t look right so I decided to make my own using the Alphabet Rotary stamp. It also needed a pop of colour so I added a daffodil delight flower.
And I am off to see what the other wonderful design team members have created………..you coming too?
