I had a fantastic team meeting last Sunday and we had a blast. There were 70 of us gathered together to craft, learn, share and have fun! I wanted to thank my team of facebook moderators for all their help over the last year and along with the badge, I wanted to make a card too. I used the Beautiful Friendship stamp set in greys and pinks for the card base and heat embossed the greeting from Bloom & Grow to finish it off.
I used our wonderful Stitched Rectangle dies to add a Flirty Flamingo frame to outline the badge which meant I was left over with some Flirty Flamingo stitched rectangles. Well what is a girl to do other than use up her scraps to make something beautiful!
I did use a retired stamp for the embossed greeting and also all my wooden shapes which felt really really good.
I made over 20 of these beauties and so my idea of using my scraps kind of backfired when I then had to die cut loads more. But they deserve it, look at them!
A truly wonderful day with loads of inspiration and ideas. I created the make and takes for them and will be sharing those in another post in the coming days.
