I share a fun fold every month with my customers and recently shared a Flip Flap card using the Branching Out Bundle from Stampin’ Up! I was inspired by Heidi Collins. I don’t know where the names of these fun fold cards come from but they often make me chuckle.
When you lift the top flap it opens around the die cut circle/pine cones and the inner section of the card folds down to reveal the greeting inside. This fun fold is very clever how it opens perfectly around the circle and gives you plenty of space to write a nice long message inside.
I decorated the front of the card using the Branching Out Bundle which features beautiful fronds and pine cones. I could not resist heat embossing the pine cones and the greetings using gold embossing powder to make it sparkle and shine.
Did you spot the die cut pine cones and leaves on the circle? They add so much texture and detail and the dark green adds a nice contrast to the front of the card.
