We made this card on Monday at my technique class. It was quick and simple to make and I especially loved the blue and yellow together. We used the Butterfly Basics stamp set to make three very different cards and I will be sharing more photos of all the cards we made in the coming days.
We used the middle sized butterfly and cut it out using the matching framelit dies. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set.
I also wanted to give you an update on how Dominic, our son is doing on his travels. He has traveled the length and breadth of Vietnam and is now in Thailand. He is having the adventure of a lifetime and messages us almost on a daily basis. We have managed skype too and I love seeing his face, its amazing how quickly you forget what they look like! He did have the misfortune of perforating his ear drum after going on a huge slide at a water park which scuppered his chances of scuba diving for now but it seems to be healing and he is in good spirits!
Here are Jamie & Dom in Koh Samui, they have since moved on and are working their way to Phi Phi Island.
What lucky things, I definitely plan a backpacking adventure of my own with my hubby, perhaps when we turn 50 🙂
