Today I am sharing a simple Christmas card made using a single ink pad. I created the background using Lost Lagoon Ink and stamped multiple snowflakes from the Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set.
The Sparkling snowflakes set is a good one to use as it has six different snowflake images, some bold and some detailed and I simply inked up the images and stamped them onto the Lost Lagoon cardstock twice which is how I got a feint image on the background. I built up the background and filled in any gaps with just the single colour ink pad, tone on tone with the matching cardstock.
All the card needed to finish it off was a large greeting and there are so many to choose from in the Night Divine stamp set. I heat embossed the greeting in Silver, I shared more here about how to heat emboss.
A final flourish of rhinestones was all that was need to finish this card. Why not give this simple card a go yourself?
