I cannot wait to share all the lovely goodies I received at the European Convention last weekend. What a truly lucky lady I am! As you may know, my team of demonstrators are called the Pink Ladies and when you see the prizes you will see that they were perfect for me.
What a vision of pink even down to the most beautiful roses I have ever seen. I used to LOVE pink when I was younger and wore it whenever I could. I even had pink trousers, a pink coat and using some dylon shoe dye to cover some shoes!! I was very young, in my early teens and don't quite go to that extreme now you will be pleased to know.
Look at all the Coach goodies, the bag is lush and I will feel ever so posh with a matching purse and my silk scarf! Now stop giggling at the vision of me in a silk scarf, there is a first time for everything…..
I was presented with those roses on Friday night at the awards dinner and one of my team took great care of them overnight as I was so laden down with my goodies that I could not carry them back to my room. I then asked a very nice concierge man if he would put them in water for me until my departure to the airport at 5pm. At the end of the convention, I whisked my large suitcase, my holdall, my stampin up bag (pics to follow), my handbag/purse and an armful of 5 individually wrapped roses to the airport. I got on everyone's nerves by bashing them with these beautiful flowers, I got them through security after 5 trays, a bag inspection (as I had left a bottle of water in it!!) and shoes and belt removal, quick snack, boarding the aircraft and being stored in an overhead locker, luggage pick up and arrivals! Then a car journey for an hour and finally I was home laden with wonderful gifts. I was SO tired I plonked everything down on the dining room table and greeted my lovely family.
It wasn't till the next morning that I realised I had also left my beautiful roses on the table with out any water for nearly 17 hours!! And the photo of the roses was taken today so you can see how well they have lasted inspite of my dreadful care and attention.
And I have to share these wonderful tags that adorned my prizes –
Absolutely stunning and it is one of the things I love most about Stampin' Up! They really thing of everything and the detail is in the little things. I was made to feel so special and I am so fortunate to have such a wonderful team of demo's who have helped me to earn this prize. And of course I need to thank all my lovely customers who support as without them I don't have a business.
These were the stamp sets I won as part of my prize too and I will be offering two of the sets to my customers in the coming weeks so make sure you check back to my blog so that you are in with a chance of receiving a very special thank you too…..
So for now, I must dash as I have a workshop tonight and not a single piece of cardstock has been cut – aaaggghhh!!!!
Thanks for stopping by x
