Last weekend was the crafting weekend retreat run by myself and Marguerite. It started on Friday at 6.30pm and finished at 4pm on Sunday. Me and my sis set up all day Friday as poor Marguerite had to work and we had a lovely time making all the displays look pretty. We had two central display areas and this was one side of one of the round table displays.
The last two weeks before the retreat were spent crafting late into the night, thankfully Pinterest was on hand to give me inspiration. This scrapbook layout was completely scrap lifted from pinterest and I have tried to find the source but it says there is a problem loading page??
(not sure why I have added two watermarks to this layout? but too tired to change it now!)
Honestly this photo does not do the 3D effect justice as it is not flat at all, I must take another photo when the light is better to show you what I mean.
This display was made using the Attic Boutique which is my new favourite DSP. I honestly thought that Twitterpated would be my favourite but the subtle patterned papers and colours in the Attic Boutique have stolen my heart.
This mirror is a new purchase for my home but I have not even had a chance to put it up before it was used in the display!! I bought it from my Aunties shop called Me,Me,Me in Leighton Buzzard and I cant wait for it to be put up but I will have to wait for my hubby to come home on Friday….
And this is the other angle of the central display table. We also had oodles of supplies to use as we both took all our stamps, punches and dies for use over the whole weekend. This is just one of the tables.
Here is the other one –
The ladies who came were wonderful company and made running the event so enjoyable. Loads more to show you, come back to see more photo's.
