Flower Accent using Crystal Effects

June 28, 2011 By Michelle Last

You are such a patient bunch of ladies.  I have been promising to post a you tube video on how to make the dimensional flower accent that I had on my shutter album and here we are in June, nearly July and I am only just getting around to it!

To be honest I have been having flip cam issues, firstly my mum borrowed my flip cam on her recent holiday as my Dad has been lugging a large video camera around on their travels and whenever they come to use it the battery is always dead or the tape full.  So she took my flip and loved it.  In fact she has since bought her own and its the newer and much sleeker model than mine!  I then lost the attachment for my gorilla clamp and was struggling to keep my camera in the right place or still.  So I invested in a nasty clamp from the States and paid £10 custom's charge for the privilege!!  But it is so much better and I can foresee me doing many more tutorials from now on.

Flower-accent

So this is the card I made but I wanted to show you how I made the flower accent using crystal effects.  It   is pretty quick apart for the drying time so make a batch and set them aside to use later on other projects.

Enjoy……..

Thanks for watching x

    Hi Michelle,
I think you tied in this video with news of the new retreat date very well. Seeing the flower made again brought back memories of the great time I had earlier this year. Can’t wait to learn something new at the retreat in 2012?
    Thanks for sharing.

When Pippi started playing with her toy both Daisy and Mollie shot up – and went looking for the squeaky toy and were most confused when they couldn’t find them!

This is fantastic Michelle. I had a go last night using the large flower from Vintage Vogue and WOW! I didn’t realise crystal effects was flexible, having experienced cracking with other brands. Thanks again. Off to make some more 😉

Interactive Mini Album I've been busy behind the Interactive Mini Album

I've been busy behind the scenes creating a special mini album for my team retreat this weekend. I can't wait to spend time with my wonderful team—being creative together, sharing lots of laughs and making this beautiful keepsake. If you've followed me for a while, you'll know I have a real love for mini albums. They're one of my favourite ways to preserve memories because they tell a story that's far bigger than a single scrapbook page....
