Happy Halloween to you all, I adore Halloween, I think I caught the bug when I lived in Michigan in the US years ago. I have always decorated the house with pumpkins and we have a huge dressing up box filled with halloween costumes but things feel a little different this year. Both my kids are trick or treating with friends so its just me and Pip and a big bowl of sweets. I really wanted to dress Pippi in a pumpkin costume but luckily for her I have not had time to make one.
I made the pumpkins treat boxes for the members of my team who have promoted this month. They have a little box in the middle for some choccie and their bead to be added their keyring for being part of the Pink Ladies and Pink Lads.
The pumpkin is made using the scallop circle die (so versatile – check out the possibilities on google) which has then been embossed using the vintage wallpaper embossing folder. I made al little handle using some ribbon and cut out leaves with the new leaves #2 die in our new catalogue (£14.95). A button, some linen thread and a sentiment finished them off nicely. I first saw this on Lori's blog, she has some wonderful projects on her blog to go take a look.
And one of the main reasons I have been so quiet lately is that I am running a stand at the NEC this weekend. The show starts on Thursday and ends on Sunday and if you coming along be sure to come and say hi, we are on stand C16. I will be there on Friday and Sunday and we have made so many beautiful things for the stand and I promise to take photo's and share on my blog in the coming weeks.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you need anything and I really hope to see some of you at the NEC in Birmingham.
Take care
