Hand Penned Petals

This is a fancy little card made with the stunning Hand Penned Petals Stamp set and then layered onto a card front which has been die cut with the Picture This die set.

The Picture This die set cuts out several rectangles or circles so you can add detail behind. It has a lovely stitching effect around the cut edge too. The leaves are embossed using the Greenery embossing folder and I positioned them behind the cut outs at the top and bottom. I added a heat embossed greeting in the middle section (from the Lovely You stamp set – one of my absolute faves).

The flowers from the Hand Penned Petals bundle were cut and layered onto the front of the card using dimensionals.

This card was a different colour combo for me. Pool Party for the front and Pear Pizzazz for the layer but I love how it turned out.

The Gilded Leafing adds a pop of gold to the edges of some flowers and leaves. The final flourish is the gilded gems. Altogether a pretty card and something a little different.

Don’t forget the inside too. It doesn’t take long adding a little more detail to the inside. Otherwise its like leaving the house in your favourite designer outfit but without you best undies on!!
