I made these cute notecards using the Love What You Do Stamp Set and the new In Colour Grapefruit Grove, Mint Macaron & Rich Razzleberry.
I stamped the background smudge stamp in Sahara Sand Ink and the beautiful triple flower from the Love What You Do Stamp set in Soft Suede ink and then used the two stamps to add colour to the flower. I used Rich Razzleberry and Perfect Plum and Ink to add colour to the flowers and then spritzed the whole thing with a spritzer with water in it.
It makes the ink move all over the watercolour paper and creates a really pretty smudged effect. You can dab off excess ink/water with tissue and then simply set it aside to dry.
The watercolour paper is super absorbent so it didn’t take long. Once it was dry I stamped the greeting from the Make A Difference Stamp Set and Mounted it onto a Very Vanilla Notecard with a coordinating cardstock border.
I added some linen thread and some gold flakes which are really showing in the Mint Macaron and Grapefruit Grove Cards.
