Male Birthday Card and sweet treats……

This is a card I mae for my nephew for his birthday recently.  I really struggle with male cards as I always have to add ribbon and some men find it too girly.  I think this ribbon was a nice compromise, not to pretty or girly but it added a little dimension.  All the patterned paper is from Stampin Up and really simple to make.

It was card class recently and I really do have some lovely ladies who come along.  We have far too much fun, it really does not feel like work at all for me.

Well one of the lovely ladies made me a beautiful cake, all wrapped in cellophane and with a handstamped label too.  It was such a sweet gesture and looked so yummy.  So yummy in fact that my two kids helped themselves to over half the cake and a whole punnet of rasperberries as an after school snack!!  All I will say is that I was not very pleased with them……

I am off to Monaco tomorrow for the first European Incentive trip and cannot wait.  I have had a manicure, leg wax, haircut, fake tan, this free trip will end up costing me a fortune!!  I will take loads of photo's and have made gifts for the attendee's and I will let you see photo's but I dont want to ruin the surprise for them by posting photo's before I leave.
