Today is the day when we launch a brand new mini catalogue which runs until the beginning of January. If you don’t already have your paper copy and you are in Europe, please view/request a copy HERE. It is filled to the brim with brand new products to suit the coming season and I wanted to share with you a card and gift I made with my ‘new’ favourite stamp set called Modern Garden.

Modern Garden is a contemporary floral set comprising of full images (rather than just outlines) which gives a modern twist on a floral image and comes together really quickly when making your card.
I needed to make an extra special card and gift for one of my team as we celebrated her milestone birthday whilst in Vegas. We travelled together to the Stampin’ Up conference in Las Vegas and spent an extra day and night seeing the sights.

The flower stamps were inked in various ink colours from the subtles colour family and then added a splash of Misty Moonlight blue ink where needed. There are so many options for layering the flowers that I am convinced it will look so different every time you create a card with this set.
The Alphabet a la Mode dies are perfect for your cardmaking projects, as you can see, the letter fit a card front perfectly with their slim design and don’t overwhelm the background. I added a shaker element for an added touch and used the foam adhesive strips and window sheets to easily create this effect.

‘You’re going to be’ from the Happy Labels stamp set seemed perfect fit for this card so I simply heat embossed the greeting and snipped off only the part I needed.
Next up was some fun packaging to hold the gift and I had a tube which had beauty serum inside so I set about stamping the same design onto basic white card and covered the tube along with some of the designer series paper in Misty Moonlight. I had a scrap or two left over so I created the tags and greeting using the sentimental park stamp set.

Keep your left over die cut letters! When I cut the ‘forty’ and simply stuck them on the inside of the card to make the inside as pretty as the outside.
I loved this card so much, I didn’t want to give it away, does that ever happen to you? If you fancy making your own version, I have listed the products I have used below. Be sure to take a browse through our new mini catalogue and see all the lovely new products launching today. Click the image below to view

And if you want to get some new supplies, don’t forget to add the monthly hostess code to your order to receive a thank you card and gift for supporting my business.
Have a great day!
