Such an appropraite card for a rather mad week!!
This card was made using Mosaic Madness {hence the appropriate name} and I seriously hope I have not already posted this card but you will forgive me if I have when you read the rest of the post! I was totally inspired from a card on Pinterest and adore the Soft Sky and Summer Starfruit colour combo. I embossed the bottom half of the card with the matching mosaic embossing folder and using the stitched matching ribbon to cover the line where the embossing stops.
I am still not back in the swing of things!
In the last week, my son has gone off to his first festival {am happy to report he is back, happy and dirty, having had the most wonderful time}, my daughter turned 15 {Happy Birthday Amy}, I have finally made our house home again after a month or two or neglect, a fun family day on bank holiday Monday {an annual tradition where our family gather to eat, drink, chat and play games together – with at least 40 of us}, a brief article in the local Buckingham Advertiser website {not quite news worthy enough to make the newspaper but good coverage nonetheless} and today see's me have a radio round table discussion at Bucks 3 Counties Radio at 6pm.
I thought I was being pretty cool about it but I have realised that today I am SCARED!! {I could think of some many others words to use but thought I had best not!!}. I shouted out in my sleep last night 'HELP' as I was dreaming that some homeless man in a sleeping bag was following me into a dark car park??? I then went on to dream that I was rejected for a dance show all without any clothes on! And I keep having to take large intakes of breath through my nose and deep breaths out of my mouth for no apparent reason!
So wish me luck for today, I would not normally talk about this till it was over and I could guarantee I had not died of fright and hopefully but I think it is good to challenge yourself to do new things and step outside of your comfort zone, so that is what I am going to do today. And hopefully a much calmer me will be back next time……….

I love the picture and the write up in the news paper, way to go :))) Hope the radio goes well today, thinking of you xxx

Oh I hope it went well, I worked late tonight or I would have tried to tune in on the t’internet!
WTG girl and you deserve it all !! You put so much into your passion Michelle and your great fun to be with, can I be the first to get your autograph ??

Great card Michelle, love the colour choice and stamp set. Loved the write up in the newspaper. The very best of luck with the radio interview. Is the discussion about your stamping? I hope you tell us all about it in your next blog post. As for your very vivid dreams OMG you do sound a bit stressed. Easy for me to say, but relax and enjoy the experience…..I can say this cause it’s not me 😉 If it was me I would be feeling just like you! Cheers Donna Z 🙂
Good luck, love the card, i’m sure you’ll be fab xxxx
Hope it all went well Michelle. Your family day sounds great, what a wonderful tradition to keep. Glad that Dom had a great time, remember when my boys went off to concerts etc. and when Carl and 9 mates went away for a week in a caravan – yuk! Pretty card, very you. What would we do without Pinterest. Just made Jo a card that I had pinned to my secret board but she had seen it and loved it and I did change it a bit! Used the SU butterfly Sizzlet in primary colours. Anne X
Third basemen should look at gloves slightly larger, around 11.5 inches, to give them a bit more than the middle infielders. Ugg boots Uk Sale http://www.2flagladyohio.com/
Gorgeous card Michelle! I love that colour combo too! 🙂
I didn’t hear the radio interview but I hear it went well! It’s good to push yourself sometimes! 🙂
