New Baby card using Zoo Babies from Stampin’ Up!

October 10, 2013 By Michelle Last

This card makes me happy. I had this idea months ago when I first experimented with slider cards but i just never found a moment to put it together.  I made the ark at least two months ago and knew I wanted to use the zoo babies stamp set as the animals were perfect for going into the ark but my wish for more hours in the day never came.

Then one of my lovely downline Sasha had a baby girl and I knew I had to get it finished. We had a Stampin' Up! training event recently and Sasha bought her 11 day old baby daughter, Rosealie along to introduce us.  She was SO good and the pride and love from Sasha and Jimmy was just oozing from every pore.  I had not finished the card so I gave them the gift I had bought for her all packaged in a large kraft gift box and decorated with the Kind & Cozy stamp set and the chalk talk framelits….

But I told her she had to wait for the card but I posted it on Tuesday finally so I can share it with you now….

When you pull the ribbon, it slides open to reveal. the Zoo babies…

and I made the elephant and the giraffe have some dimension…

I hope Rosealie likes it :0) Zoo Babies is £19.95 in clear mount and £24.95 in wood mount, visit my online shop before they all disappear onto the ark!

Interactive Mini Album I've been busy behind the Interactive Mini Album

I've been busy behind the scenes creating a special mini album for my team retreat this weekend. I can't wait to spend time with my wonderful team—being creative together, sharing lots of laughs and making this beautiful keepsake. If you've followed me for a while, you'll know I have a real love for mini albums. They're one of my favourite ways to preserve memories because they tell a story that's far bigger than a single scrapbook page....
