I am looking forward to an evening of crafting wtih some of my lovely ladies tonight and tonight's class is a Technique Class using the Paisley Petals stamp set. I have to say I have had this class on my schedule for over a month now and have not had a chance to play with the stamp set! I needed to get my act togther this morning and sat down to make 3 cards using this set……
Uuummmmm – I thought, I really was lacking in inspiration so I just began to stamp and colour and managed to create these three little beauties.
And as is quite often the case, given a little time to craft without any interuptions, something quite magical happens.
This card involces quite a lot of embossing and punching but I love the simplicity of it. I knew that most of the cards using this set would be busy so I wanted one that was simple and elegant.
Don't you love the rectangle embossed frame?? Gorgeous…..
The next card was a little busier although I tried to use the flower image but it just did not add anything so I left it off the card altogether.
I stamped the image using Pacific Point ink onto watercolour paper and used a variety of tools to add some colour. I used marker pens, an aqua painter and also a blender pen and just kept adding colour until I was happy with the result. I think the green, blue, purple and yellow go surprisingly well together and I was very happy with the result, especially for someone who is not great at colouring in and struggles to keep in the lines!!!
And this was my final card, I adore this colour combo –
Soft Suede, Pool Party and More Mustard.
It, is a shame but the dazzling diamonds is hard to see on this photo, so here is another photo that may help to see it. I tied a length of Island Indigo ribbon as an accent and scalloped and inked the edges.
So I am trying to spoil you a little as I know you have been neglected lately. I do hope you like the cards and if you wanted to get your hands on this stamp set and matching paper for FREE you will need to host a workshop and reach £300 in sales. If you are interested in booking a workshop please get in touch to see if we can arrange a date or why not be giving your other half a wish list of the products you would like and send him my way…. I will make sure that Father Christmas is kind to you this year….
Have a great day, love

I loved the class this week Michelle – but all that being arty with a blender pen took me right out of my comfort zone (which is why I was a bit grumpy by the end – all to do with me and nothing to do with you!!!)
The cards are stunning!
I have been looking for the paisley petals stamp set for quite a while. If you know how I an find one please let me know.
