Stamping & Blogging Sketch Challenge card using Flower Patch stamps

October 1, 2014 By Michelle Last

Today’s card was made using the gorgeous Flower Patch stamps from Stampin’ Up!

flower-patch from Stampin Up

I had a go at making a fence using the beautiful Hardwood background stamp and did a watercolour background to add some detail behind the flowers.  Of course I had to use Pool party and Soft Suede my two favourite colours!

I added some dimension with candy dots and buttons and inked the edges of the fence too.  So here is the sketch I used to inspire me…

I’ve seen lots of hardwood fences around, but yours is definitely my favourite. Looks really fresh & pretty combined with Flower Patch. Love it!

Interactive Mini Album I've been busy behind the Interactive Mini Album

I've been busy behind the scenes creating a special mini album for my team retreat this weekend. I can't wait to spend time with my wonderful team—being creative together, sharing lots of laughs and making this beautiful keepsake. If you've followed me for a while, you'll know I have a real love for mini albums. They're one of my favourite ways to preserve memories because they tell a story that's far bigger than a single scrapbook page....
