I have had the idea for these cards floating around my head for weeks and never seemed to get around to making them so I decided to stamp the dandelion stamp and then colour in front of the television on evening. It made the task of making 7 cards less daunting and once I had started I was on a roll. I used different colours for each card and loved how the stamp looked on the First Edition Newsprint background. These are very belated thank you cards from convention which was in November and I know they are ridiculously late but it's important to not give up and think it's too late now! People love to receive a hand stamped card through the post whether its late or not.
Here is a close up as I also stamped the inside of the card too…..
Here are the cards close up, this one is Perfect Plum
This one is using Pink Pirouette
And Sahara Sand
So Saffron
Wisteria Wonder
And finally this one is using bashful blue. Can you see the graph detail, it is actually from a builder wheel stamp and I cut it into a strip and added it to some ezmount and created my own border stamp, I just love it and I am sure you will see it again and again. It would be perfect for scrapbooking.
The cards are all slight variations on each other and some have stitching holes and inked edges. Which one is your favourite?? I think mine is the last one in Bashful Blue.
And I need to say that Simply Soft is a hostess set and well worth holding a workshop just to get your hands on it. I would love to come and do a workshop for you but if you are too far away why not gather some orders together from your crafting friends and get yourself the hostess benefits along with the sale-a-bration freebies and on £150 order you would qualify for 3 free sets!!
I would love to hear which one is your favourite, you know where I am if you need anything x

Michelle,
I love all of these cards, but my favorites are the Wisteria and the Sahara Sand.
Michelle,
I love all of these cards, but my favorites are the Wisteria and the Sahara Sand.
I love the pink one, fresh and young ! Thank you for the idea
They are beautiful Michelle – and yes you are quite right – you can never be too late with a hand stamped card as lovely as these. I love them all I can’t choose just one LOL
What a beautiful set of cards and I too prefer the Sahara Sand and Wisteria.
They are all fab, Michelle! Great idea to mount up the graph paper wheel stamp.. tempted to buy that one having seen what you’ve done with it!
