I have another two cards to share with you today using the Painted Lavender stamp set and the Notes of Nature stamp set. These are more of a vintage style, so come and take a look with me.

I stamped onto watercolour paper which gives a lovely texture and you get the opportunity to use a spritzer to make the ink bleed if that is your style. The lavender from the Painted Lavender stamp set was stamped in the same way as the clean and simple cards shared in my previous blog post HERE. I used a combination of Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape & Boho Blue ink pads and Stampin’ Write markers to colour the lavender stamp. I used a Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write marker for the stem.

I used the Painted Lavender dies for the second card but created a vintage style circle for the background. The background paper was also from this suite and I used a neutral tone so as not to take away from the detail of the stamped image.

Which one do you like best?
I enhanced the cards and made them a vintage style using the Notes of Nature Stamp set. I added the collage style stamps and the dots and then added some colour with my blending brush. You can’t go wrong with this style, just keep adding until you are happy with the result. The linen thread adds a nice texture and some purple fine shimmer gems finish it off.
The Painted Lavender will be carrying over into the new annual catalogue but not the designer series paper or the Notes of Nature stamp set (boo hoo), so if you love them, I urge you not to wait.
As always I have shared the supplies I used to make these cards below. It is super easy to order from my online shop by clicking any of the images and adding the item to your basket. Please remember to use the monthly hostess code (which is shared on my blog) to receive a thank you card and gift for shopping with me.
I hope you enjoyed stopping by, I really do appreciate it. Have a great day.
