I am sharing a card I have made today using the Window Box Thinlits for the Global Design Project case the designer challenge! This week we are casing Krista Frattin who is a Canadian Stampin Up Demo who is uber talented and a past Artisan Design team member.
I have used a combination of products to make this card including the Irresistibly Floral design er series paper which is white and has an embossed design on it so I used the sponge brayer to add Daffoldil Delight ink to make it background yellow and the diamond pattern pop in white.
I then cut the small square die from the Window Box thinlit dies and cut around the pattern using the stitched shapes framelits. The scallop circle is from the circle framlits nesting dies and the vellum piece has been stamped and heat embossed with the little flower from the Window Shopping stamp set which coordinates with the window shopping dies.
I added a little circle of dazzling diamonds glimmer paper behind the die cut to add some sparkle.
The card we cased is shown below. Beautifully simple or simply beautiful, either way so easy to case and make your own creation. So why not join us this week and case Krista and upload over at the Global Design Project?
Whilst you are there check out what the other design team members have made using Krista’s card as inspiration.
The supplies I used are shown below and if you click any of the images you will go directly to that product in my shop. If you place an order for £20+ please use the hostess code if your order is £20+ (and less than £150) to receive a free thank you gift in the mail from me! I really do appreciate your business!

I’m in LOVE with this card Michelle! The colour combo is divine and highlighted glittery die cut piece from the Window Box Thinlits is just gorgeous. xo
Another great design. Thanks
I just wondered “how did she do the yellow pattern???”Thank you for the explanation. You inspired me to use this paper and give it a try, because at this moment it is unpacked in my cupboard.:( Sorry)
Have a nice week Michelle
I can see you are totally switched to yellow <3
Love your take on Krista's card.
I am so pleased I opened this up to take a closer look! Love the bright and cheerful yellow background! You added such precious elements from the embossed vellum band and your focal image layering a scalloped border bring the eye to the glittery goodness popping out of the grey die cut image! Great color palette to boot! Fabulous design–Thank you!
