Your Creative Connection – Fathers Day Wallet

March 25, 2020 By Michelle Last

I am sharing more inspiration today for Your Creative Connection. Our global group came together to give you a worldwide connection to creativity and I have chosen to make a Fathers Day Wallet to inspire you!

Your Creative Connection Inspiration Tour

I am super organised this year and have already made my Fathers Day project. I decided to make a wallet so that I could slip in a voucher for a local well known Coffee Shop along with a message. It is so important to support local business right now and with so many shops and businesses closing a voucher seemed like the perfect idea!

A card made to look like a wallet for Fathers Day

I bet you totally overlooked the Word Wishes Dies which spell out the Fathers Day greeting on the front of my wallet card. There is a die cut for lots of celebrations and its the perfect size for a card front. I added the Happy from the new Label Me Bold stamp set from the mini catalogue.

I created a simple wallet shape using Soft Suede Cardstock which I embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder which gives a beautiful texture like real leather/fabric.

Fathers Day Wallet Card

I did create a magnetic closure for the wallet and hid the magnets between cardstock so you cannot see them.

I made compartments for the inside of the wallet using Balmy Blue cardstock and made sure they were the perfect size to fit a gift card.

Wallet card for fathers day with a gift card

As I was gifting a Coffee gift card it seemed apt that I use the brand new FREE Sale-A-bration set called Rise & Shine.

This is a FREE set during Sale-a-bration which ends on 31st March. If you spend £90 on any products of your choice from either catalogue you can choose this stamp set free. The coffee cups are reversible which makes adding multiples look really cute!

Fathers Day Wallet Card

It is a great little treat holder for anyone who deserves a gift card. It would be perfect for Teachers too! They deserve medals though lets be honest!

I bet you are ready to see what the other global participants of the Your Creative Connection have made. Let’s go visit Claire who is next on this Inspiration Tour.

Interactive Mini Album I've been busy behind the Interactive Mini Album

I've been busy behind the scenes creating a special mini album for my team retreat this weekend. I can't wait to spend time with my wonderful team—being creative together, sharing lots of laughs and making this beautiful keepsake. If you've followed me for a while, you'll know I have a real love for mini albums. They're one of my favourite ways to preserve memories because they tell a story that's far bigger than a single scrapbook page....
