I have not had a chance to share with you something I made for my neice's baby shower. My neice Rhianne is expecting her first baby at the end of this month as my sister held a baby shower. I have never been to one before and really did not know what to expect. To be honest I did not want to buy lots of pressies for the baby just yet as we don't know what sex the baby will be and I just love that excitement of finding out and rushing out to purchase something pink or blue so I just bought some little neutral gifts for her to open at the shower and hope to indulge in a pink or blue shopping spree once the baby is here safe and sound! It is the first great grandchild in our family and as you can imagine we are all very excited, how lovely it will be to have a new baby in the family… I will keep you posted.
So I made a one sheet box I but followed Jenni Pauli's Video Tutorial (which is in German) but she uses two 12 x 12 sheets to make and extra large box. She does show the measurements and I just paused the video on that slide and made a note of the measurements. I so love this lady, she is so talented!
I added one of the creped filter paper flowers to the flap and a ribbon handle and added a little tag using the apothecary accents framelits and the Rain or Shine stamp set. Look how cute that little hat is, luckily I have my little Pips, otherwise I feal my broody instincts may take over! Totally wrong to love a pooch so much but I do :0)
Anyway, wishing you all a great day, please get in touch if you need anything from the retiring list x
