Michelle Last

Papercrafter
Independent UK Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator

November 24, 2011 By Michelle Last

Look at this little beauty!  This is the bag which we all received when we arrived at the convention along with any badges for our milestones and achievements.  I  have quite a collection of badges from my time with stampin up and I treasure them, I really must scrapbook them one day……

This bag is SO useful for running workshops but not only is it pretty but practical too.  There were lots of squeals of delight when we picked up our bags…..

Bag

These are the downline gifts I made for all the Pinkies that attended convention.  There were 19 of us from our group that went along and it was a brilliant chance for me to spend some time getting to know them a little better.  I made them all a notebook and pencil (I lost my pencil but I stamped it with the parlour prints background stamp) and the sentiment I used was from petite pairs.  Its one of my favourites sentiments and perfect for an occasion such as this even thought it is designed to go with welcome baby!!!!  The box I stamped with the creative elements stamp set which is stunning and the boxes are for storing business cards.  A useful gift I thought as mine business cards always seem to get creased and bent in transit which is not a great first impression!  (A bit like me I hear you say….).  And finally I have my team a name badge holder which has an extendable cord on it so that they can wear their name badges and show which team they are in.  The owl is from Aviary and he was the perfect size to fit in the circle.

Pinkie-gifts

Here are some of my memento mall purchases, delish….. I could have spent a fortune, oh yes I remember – I did spend a fortune but its all for my business you understand 😀

Memento-mall

Here are the first batch of swaps I received.  I received some swaps from some very talented crafters and have really enjoyed going through them all again and again.  I have already cased the Christmas card on the left  with the Christmas trees, which was made by Evy Calder, take a look at her blog here.

Swaps1

The swaps are such a great way to showcase the lovely products from Stampin' Up! but in a style different to mine and it is always worth making the effort to make as many as poss before you leave, even though sometimes it can feel a little stressful.

Swaps2

What a talented bunch the european crafters are!!!

Swaps3

Which one is your favourite??

Swaps4

Can you guess which one was my favourite?

Swaps5

I bet you can't, its this one, absolutely adorable…..

DSC_0054-1

It was made by a French demo Cecile Ortiz and she must have had repetitive strain injury to her wrist as she made 280 of these little creatures.

So lots to get your creative juices flowing and I hope you come back as I still have lots of projects to show you from the recent NEC show too…..

Have a great day
